In theory he's eligible to practice this week and could be activated from the 6 game IR.
I'm not feeling confidant that happens.
The injury report is a vague at best. He could have anything from a compound fracture, hairline injury or severe sprain.
He will have had about 5 weeks of time since the injury. We'll see if gets any reps this week. If as I suspect he doesn't then I fully expect he spends at least the full 6 games on IR.
Hopefully I'm wrong, but that's the gut feeling I have at the moment.

Heard injury was to Kramdi's thumb, if so should be back soon.
There's something wrong with Deatrick's thumbs but we keep throwing him out there.

That's more encouraging but still a TBD. If he broke it, it still means a cast and that makes it difficult to tackle.
We'll see if he gets reps this week. Getting him back would help but there are other significant problems on defence. We've already lost to the Elks. We do have a chance to win the game and the series since we only lost by 5 points.
I'll be happy with a win but the season series is always a critical issue in the standings.
Great news, as most know been in Kamp Kramdi since the start
Key cog, will be a career Bomber imo
His loss has been massive
Find a FS and send Kramdi home to LB please
Pipe dream but that's what I would do
Defence hasn't played any better or worse since he's been out. His presence or absence is not what's ailing the team.

I don't know. Seems the busts are way worse since he left. Maybe it doesn't seem as bad as sometimes the QB/RECs botch our busts. But they are still busts nonetheless.

The way Willie and Younger described the confusion and lack of communication in the game against the Lions, I would guess Kramdi's abscence makes a big difference.

They were saying the same things all year. Nothings gotten worse. We've been a bottom third defence all year long.
Ya, I don't think Kramdi is a magical fix all the problems answer, but he will for sure help.
There were times I saw Nichols & Woodbey frantically directing Ball & Kelly.

IMO, Kramdi is over-rated at either of the two positions where he has played but his return will help specifically at S where Ball and Kelly have recently played. Again, IMO, those two Canadians are inadequate and should not see the field unless on STs. I feel badly for Ball because of his injury but....
Part of the issue (and there are several issues) with the Bombers nowadays is that their Canadian talent aside from one or two (and you know who they are) is not very good. Sure our record is above .500 but let's see where it is after the next few games. I'll still be watching and cheering (since 1957) but I'm not optimistic for this season.

Kramdi was under rated as a strong side linebacker.

The D hasn't been good all year but I agree worse without Kramdi.

That's telling and makes sense. Didn't notice that, thanks for sharing.
Yes his return will help a little but there is no magic fix for this D unless we somehow signed a ace FS and above average HB (pipe dream). When Kramdi returns he will take a couple games to get up to speed likely, hope I'm wrong.
This season our D will struggle and at times shows flashes of average play.
Folks, I can't wait for the defense to return to the dominant form they were in earlier in the season when Kramdi was in there.
Going to be so great! Everyone will know where they are going so no one will be confused on which receiver to stand three yards behind.

Going to disagree, you're writing Ball off after watching him play one half in a positional role? As for Kelly there's good reason Younger keeps playing him, he's turned the corner and is flying around with confidence, he's beginning to make an impact like many of the other young Cdn. Safeties we admire from other teams. He's obviously not perfect yet but that's to be expected in the early learning phase.
Ball has been surprisingly good for where we drafted him the problem is he obviously just can't stay healthy. Seems like bad luck more than anything but if he misses significant time again it just gets harder and harder to keep a spot but we'll see.

Three yards is rookie numbers! It takes a real well oiled D to stand 10Y behind! Remember, it's important that we be gracious and make sure we don't disrupt any catches.
