Good:
- Brady ball baby! Get the ball in his hands, let the QB use him to escape danger, run the offence through him, good things happen. Over and over. Can't stress this enough.
- Zach getting back on the field after I thought he suffered a career ender
- Rush defence - Ottawa is the worst at rushing the ball, but we did what we needed to do.
- Perkins with a bit of a trick play! More creativity please.
- Driving for a FG in the dying seconds of the half
- Reese's interception, sweet play
- Castillo perfect
- Vaval pretty solid
Bad:
- Maier passing for 300+ again (which is his average to be fair)
- Pass blocking from our OL. Getting our guys killed out there.
- The long kick return right before the half that almost killed the vibe
- Pass coverage - still seemingly allowing QBs to drive the field at will
Ugly:
- Zach getting knocked out again. Win or lose, it feels irresponsible to let him continue to play.
- Ontaria Wilson - targeted 5 times, 0 receptions, 1 egregious drop in the endzone.
Good
Brady had a whale of a game and silenced the critics. No he isn't coming off the roster. He is hurt and if he is this good hurt, watch out when healthy again. As gutsy performance as you will see. Needs the rock more. Feed him and he cooks.

The ugly drop in the EZ by Wilson was one of those unfortunate "looked much worse than it was" incidents, with a deflection off his facemask being just enough to flub an easy catch.
Overall, I didn't feel worried at any time in this game, and I feel sorry for OTT and Dinwiddie. That interception was ugly, the receiver basically batted the ball to Reese. And the Johnston special to a wide open receiver in the EZ, well, like the panel said, "That's just sooo Ottawa" Would have made it much closer.
ST's seemed on point, punters are really getting the drop it at the 1 game now. Even with that, Vaval got out of the shadows of the goal posts.
Nichols out and then back in, and Collaros too, were good news. All of the aspects seemed on point, if we take that performance up against the Esks, I think we will be OK.

Agree, that is the gritty performance they need to reproduce every game if they want a chance of winning, they should be able to beat the Elks and hopefully split with the Riders, but the Als are still likely to trounce them.
I think they finally stumbled on the offence that works, but can't put so much burden on Brady, they need to share the load by adding a number of durable short targets inside between Demski, Clercius and Daniels.

On the challenge he was probably influenced by there being only about 7 minutes left in the game, but agree there was very little to suggest PI there. Should have kept his flag for later in case it was needed.

Happy you said that, the Brady is washed, one dimensional, slow,should be replaced chatter, etc. was getting a little much

Ambers was going for the ball, but did contact the receiver early. The fact it wasn't called on the field meant it was unlikely to be overturned as it was a gray area.
Smith at Sam lets Kramdi come back at FS.
Oline, not 100% to blame for the sacks, they needed more support from Brady and TE's on pass pro, and Zach sending Brady almost every time was a big issue. They really opened things up for Brady. I give them a saw off on that.

The broadcast on CJOB said it seemed like he got the wind knocked out of him since he got up and was ok.. Doug Brown said he had had this happened to him while playing.
On the show after the game on OB, ZC confirmed he got the wind knocked out of him. Do you listen to it?
Don't make things out of nothing. Many athletes get the wind knocked out of them and can play normally right after. It wasn't a big injury. I've had it happen in sports to me, you need a few minutes.

If it had been called PI on the field it would not have been overturned, IMHO.
But the defender has a right to a path to the ball, and he was purely going for the ball. It might even have been called OPI, and not overturned.

I heard Zach's interview but we've been having this conversation for years.
To help Zac out and improve the O line until we can find better players is using six O linemen. Our 4 and 5 Nat receivers are hardly used.
Until Bryant is replaced he could use that extra guy on his side.
We started 9 Nats against Ottawa and the way Wilson has been dropping the ball lately get Zac another Imp receiver to throw to
