My only complaint, as per usual, is there is too many thursday games.

Hilarious. Will they get the home team locker room?

By the time I get home from the game, it's close to midnight. And the expectation that I show up to work and be able to function, after going to bed at 12:30-1:00am, is unreasonable. I basically have to give away the tickets or take the next day off.
Sunday afternoon is better than Thursday. Although Saturdays are still the best.
Looks good to me. Looks like bye weeks 3/10/16. 2 away games to end the season. Thursday/Friday games does matter to me.

I prefer Thursday games to Friday games, regardless if they're home or away. Fridays nights from April to November I'm driving 3.5 hours to my cottage property in NW ONT, so no CJOB past the ONT border (too much interference from the CDN shield, + weak signal), and by the time I actually roll into my cottage it's like 9-9:30, so the game is almost over. I'd much rather be able to actually see/hear the whole game, than just watch the highlight reel. Thursday games allow for that (for me, anyway). For the games I have attended in person on Thursdays, I take the shuttle bus from McPhilips Street Station, and I never leave the games early int he 4th, but I don't think I've ever been back in my house after 11:30pm....

It's
CGY 3x, not SSK. This may or may not be a good thing, depending on how much talent SSK loses in FA and if CGY can keep improving or loses a step.

This will sound weird, but if you have a good cell data plan you can stream the game live from the CJOB streaming page. Tie that into your car and you'll get better sound quality than you will from most AM reception! Of course that only works until you get to very remote cottage roads. All the main highways should be good.
I like it! No SSK 3x. No BC 3x.
The week 3 bye is (once again) a little early, but it will give us 2 weeks to retool should we come out of the gate in a bad way.
But after that the byes are perfectly spaced.
Many of the 2 games vs the same team are close temporally, which isn't great. I prefer meeting most teams at least 9 weeks apart so we can get both the "good" version of the team and the "bad" -- should there be any in-season change.
Since WFC sold out all of the Thu games last year, I think continuing with them is perfectly fine.
The only real down side is I feel bad for TOR with these fake "home" games -- I would feel ripped off if this was happening to my team. We're going to cream them with our crowd noise, and that's not really fair. Oh well, not like their home crowd was loud in their favor anyhow.

I do this all the time to catch the CJOB pre-game on my phone and I'm in BC.
About as perfect as I could ask for after terrible schedule last season.
The opponents and byes are spaced out fairly evenly. We got plenty of summer home games.
3 Thursdays out of 10 games isn't terrible.
I still miss the days of the season starting on Canada Day weekend, but that's just my personal "old man yelling at clouds" opinion.

No. They will get the home side of the field though.
Good looking schedule to me.

Thanks for the heads up. Corrected my original post.

I lose all connectivity once I get north of Kenora and hit the 597 bypass north towards Minaki - this on a Galaxy S24+ through BellMTS. From that point on, I get the occaisonal one bar, or mostly no signal at all for the last 80-90 minutes of my trip. This also affects my satellite radio (SiriusXM). It's so bad (my place backs onto a giant granite hill 300ft tall and blocks my cell signal from the closest tower) that I need to rely on Starlink set up on a tower for everything, and have to use IPTV to watch games at the lake. The joys of being (semi)offgrid.....

That's just The Shield, man! I have signal issues with my SiriusXM for a handful of stretches on the 17A bypass, presumably from the giant Precambrian rocks jutting out along the highway.
Sounds like a great place you have there in NW Ontario. :D

The data usage is minimal for the radio broadcast too. Have done this method several times even overseas!
