I only recall Kyrie Wilson coming off for shoulder issue (stinger?) but being back in the game after that, and Ball needing a little help after a punt.

I think Ball was badly busted up.  I didn't check too closely but I'm not sure he returned.

Who's next NAT STer up if he's IRd?

I'll see if I can spot him on my rewatch.  Ball's been pretty good on the teams so far.  Might be a good fit for the team, though that "last 2 guys" NAT STer spot is always precarious with new DPs every year.

Anyone see Schoen?  Wondering if he's hanging around for the rest of the season or already went home.

Yup, just saw Schoen talking to (I think) Strev on the sidelines on a TSN shot on my rewatch.  So he's hanging around.

Believe I saw him on the sidelines in the Hamilton game.

Thanks yes I remember both of those now.  Ball looked bad.  I am not sure who would take his place.

Maybe someone from Ottawa.

Everyone wants the Bombers to trade for some of the REDBLACK's starters but it wouldnt surprise me if Walters trades for a depth player.

We don't have many healthy Canadians left to choose from. None on the 1 game IR and only 3 on our PR. It might create an opportunity for Munier-Bailey to be added as the 2nd global on the AR.

Otherwise it's Cobb. Kornelson or Vibert.

Anyone nicked has the bye time to recover but that may not be enough.

I didn't notice any other possible injury problems for once.

Interesting that Dalton Schoen is still around practice. Bombers have said he's out for the year. Presumably he'll need ACL surgery. And he's still at practice (I think) every day.

I wonder if we see some new players added to PR this week. There isn't much time left to take a quick look at new talent.

Obviously new faces are for the long term planning going into TC 2026. We often see those extra 5 added for next year to get a more extensive tryout.

The status of Griffin, Parker and Wheatfall are all TBD. Griffin might be the only one close to ready to return. Someone mentioned Parker at the game was limping significantly so he doesn't appear close to ready. Wheatfall's injury looked to be at least several weeks off the roster.

Noting that we only have 3 regular season games left, the shelves are a bit empty.

Looked at the Ball injury.  He & Ike are going around the horn to converge on the returner, and they just miss him as he's too far ahead, and they collide (im)perfectly with each other.

Pretty hard collision as they both are going down.  Ball was lower, I think.

So really could be anything.  But likely not a non-contact, and didn't look brutal enough to break major bones.  Could be a bell-ringing.

I don't remember what he was favoring when leaving the field, if anything.

I think we can have cautious optimism.

Mitchell was in the tent late in the 4th quarter.

As was Kyrie, but he returned to play shortly after.

That's too bad, hopefully just a tune up.

I think it was one of the mods who said on GDT that Strev wasn't wearing his brace.  I think I'll have to agree.  There are a ton of shots with him fairly close up (because of his 23 TDs that game!) and there aren't the normal brace bulges around the knee.

I guess it held up well, as he was taking quite a lot of whacks and tackles.  One time he looked a bit limpy afterwards, but I think he just walked it off.

He did look zippy(er) on the edge run around, eh!  We might be getting New Improved Faster Strev just in time for the post-season.

Did not hear this, thanks.  We need a little zip.

Geez for $ just about any money, plus grey cup or playoff chance I would come up and play for a month.

Some speedy DBs , Linemen, line backer and especially some undersized speedy d linemen. I can not emphasize enough how a speedy DT would do against big slow offensive linemen.

Well as long as our o lime,en protect Zac, we have a chance.
Go blue!

Not many positions can adapt the Canadian game and learn the playbook in that short a time.

I see we did add 6 players to the PR today though. 2 OL, 2 DL, 1 LB and 1 DB.

That seldom happens when the PR is expanded. We have added some new ones to the neg list. Regardless of what happens in free agency there will be others looked at during the off season tryout camps.
