Title: Where is our GM
Post by: Blue72 on September 20, 2025, 01:06:19 AM
End of last year and again a year before he lets our DTs walk and finds nobody to replace them. Last year he lets Lawler get away and keeps Schoen which was a big mistake.
Come FA time and he lets most teams pick first so he doesnt have to spend money and usually picks up what nobody wanted.
Come this year he sat while everyone else picked QBs and we end up with what we had last year  Remember Strev is not even close to what he was in 2019 and it shows.
Why hasnt he made a move this year to try and improve this team so far this year, BC and Sask keep bringing in players. So far he brought back one player in Wilson as a receiver and thats about it.
We need help on our Oline and nobody coming in. BC let one of our Oline players go Sukh Chungh and he is sitting at home, he is a Nat player.
What is happening with our GM and HC, it seems that they dont care about this team this year with what they are putting on the field.

Why sign Collaros for next year when he has so many problems staying healty, especially for full salary. instead pay him $350 plus games played. Use the extra money to bring in his replacement. Strev and Wilson shouldnt be back next year.
How about Collaros as a QB players coach or maybe OC if he is done for the rest of the year.

What is Sukh Chung doing? Big NAT all star at a cut rate salary, why aren't we bringing him in??

Great idea.  Now get him to agree to it!

To be fair to KW, he has been making in-season moves:

Moore
Echols
Houston (BIG move)
Pokey (BIG move)
Lawson (DB)

The Houston/Pokey moves will prove critical, for this season and next.

I like the Wilson and Houston moves, solid adds to our roster. Lawson is our weakest link in the secondary and if he plays tomorrow, look for ottawa to go after him.

Sure.  But keep in mind we usually turn at least 1 of the new DBs into a legit starter by the end of a season.  We were saying the same thing about Bonds last season, and now we'd kill to have Bonds back in!

Lawson is the weak link, but he seems to be improving, and seems to have the right tools.  Either him or Vaval will just have to get better by the time playoffs arrive.  I'd say 50/50 chance.

Or we can just have our FS cheat over to Lawson's side all game.  Not like they're doing too much else anyhow.
