Lots of changes on the TSN production this week, even compared to week 1.
I loooove the new little maple leaf icon in the starting lineups shown early in the game. Makes it really easy to see what teams are doing regarding the ratio.
They spent all of the budget on the new FX, so they didn't have any money left for chairs in the studio ;D ;D ;D
What did you like/hate about the new stuff?
I am absolutely not a fan of the FNF intro. At all.

Noticed they had the spider cam for the Rider and Stamps pre-season game, haven't seen it again. Is that setup specific to stadium? They might as well skip that step entirely and move on to drone technology.
Muamba! Hate he's talks too much about nothing
Chaz actually has to do some research and sounds better
Kate. She's a dream.
Lapo is now awesome.
Suits -love western Db
Barker - it's amazing how much he doesn't know

It's easy to setup in most stadiums. It's no stranger to PAS. They probably have much of the rigging up permanently now, and just loosen it up when required.
I think it's more a matter of TSN cheaping out. Last season I noted they used it a heck of a lot more, like at least 1 game every week. However, I don't know if that continued for the whole season.
I watched XFL/AAF and drones were horrible. Please no drones. The noise is almost as bad as MTL horns. The players must hate it, like 5 mosquitos in your ears.

Which part? The players "singing" or the new graphics/song after that?
The singing started in PS or week 1, and I like it! Cheeseball, sure, but it pays homage to the old song. And I really like the guys that "gave it" by singing, like the 2 Fords, and I think Dru? That takes guts, the rest of them are wimps!
The new graphics/song bit are top notch A-1 and are a lot like the new F1 graphics/song F1 introduced 1-2 years ago. I think CFL should mimic what F1 is doing because F1 is growing massively all over the place, and part of that is the slick production, driver-first focus, and hype hype hype.
The singing. Before it would get me amped up for the evening game or games, but now I just tune in later so I miss it.

If I had to guess, the singing part won't run the whole season. It might be just a first-few-weeks thing.

it was in Ottawa this past week.
I really like the new CFL ads on TSN, hyping up the "Canadian" aspect, going for the patriotism angle as many of us said they should the last few months.
They've been playing them during the CFL games, and other stuff. I've seen it in the F1 races too. Really good idea to spread the word and hype things up to the non-fan.
I really hope we can grow the CFL TV audience solidly this season.
