Anyone run into Willy at the grocery store this past winter?  There was a fair amount of chatter last off-season about his family staying for the winter but this year nothing. This off-season has been filled with too much nothing.

Word.

P.S. Cool about the new store -- and I assume this is a year-rounder, unlike the pop-ups over Christmas?

I think the Riders tried for a time to operate multiple merch. stores, but in the last 5 years they've scaled back to the main one at Mosaic and a mall store in Saskatoon.

KP makes a lot of sense as it's on the northern side of the city, polar opposite of the stadium store. So that's convenient.

They must do fairly well with their online store sales, as Manitobans are scattered all over the country.

But remember that Riders were on a massive downtrend under Dickenson The Lesser, just 1.5 years ago.  STH sales were falling off a cliff and the stadium was pretty empty.

Good on them for turning it around with Mace and winning again.

However, what you say is a great warning not to overexpand based on current sales.  You never know how quickly it can all go downhill 1-2 years later.

But I would say 1 extra permanent Bomber store in town is a decent investment.  We're still on the uptrend!!

Best stick to one year leases, disposable income maybe heading off a cliff.
