100% would have been different. BC might not have lost another game and we'd have to sweep them to get first.

Also Rourke would have been smashing records. I'm so upset I didn't get to see him at IG.

Reports out of BC suggest that there is a plan that includes Rourke returning for the final regular season game. Apparently he is recovering quickly. Time will tell.

Not once the playoffs hit.  If they are happy with not winning home WDF, then, sure, you roll with VA until the final week.  He'll win 50% of them.  Well 40% now that Lucky is out as well as Burnham.

But if BC wants to beat CGY in WSF they 100% haul out limping Rourke to play.  They know they have a legit shot at a GC this year, and it may not recur next year.  They have literally nothing to lose.  They don't care if they cripple Rourke.  And Rourke being a young baller will be more than happy to go out and play in a walking boot.

BC isn't good enough to beat the top teams in the playoffs without Rourke.  Rourke is the only reason they are in the position they are in.  They are literally a middling team without him.  Bad DL, bad LBs, good DBs, middling OL ("cheating" with 3 IMPs).  All they had was the best QB and the best WR/SBs.  But all the best WR/SBs are out now (except Rhymes) and no Rourke.  Everything looked better than it was simply because of Rourke and his ToP.

Even with Rourke, we beat BC in a WDF.  We already beat them (badly!) when they had all their weapons healthy!  With VAJ, we obliterate them (as will CGY in WSF, denying us the chance).

After watching HS last night the 4:30 game ended about 6:40, and it was definitely chilly.

Yup Goldie, what a great afternoon and evening.  Felt much warmer than the last game.

My daugher (3) got to go to her first game!  A last minute thing as a friend couldn't use his pair of tickets.  My first game with the whole crew.  Turned out great.  Got on the field, and had way too much chow and candy.  IGF delivered tonight!

What a great night to seal #1 in W.  I couldn't be happier.

Haha - that 1/2 streaker (so Winnipeg to be modest and only shirtless) was right in front of us.

Nah Goldie - you don't have to be a streaker to get on the field.  They let fans on about 10 minutes after the game.  Only did it for the first time a few weeks ago to wish Sara Orlesky all the best after her last game here.

Like Big Daddy said: wait 10 mins, go on down.  There was the most fans on the field this game that I've ever seen at IGF.  I guess it's the earlier time so most kids are still there, plus the weather was pretty nice.  I've never seen such a line for B&B and the Captain.

Do it.  My son started at 2, daughter 3.  She's more trouble than he was in general, but at the game she was actually better.  And now I have my son to help with the wrangling.  Key tricks: bring activities, point out what's going on, point out buzz/boomer, let them use binoculars, keep feeding them, lie about how long is left, remind them constantly that only good kids get to go on the field to run and get TDs and meet B&B.  My son is STH with me now.  I'll take the daughter to another 1 or 2 games next year.

You get a little less attention for the game, but it's not as bad as you'd think.  The younger ones work best at games that are a little less close/critical, like this EDM game.  After about 7 they really are no trouble at all.

There was a dude on the field in O'Shea's 1st or 2nd season as Coach and I seem to remember him almost tackling the guy as he came close to the sidelines.
